Devon Grapevine

for people from different cultures, living in Devon

The Olive Tree Association Tuesday and Wednesday English learners' groups had a great end of term trip on Wednesday - 27 of us jumped into a bus and spent the day at Killerton House, a National Trust property near Broadclyst.

The gardens at Killerton are beautiful at this time of year ...

We were so lucky with the weather, the sun shone, and Kate and I ran around on the grass with the children while everyone else explored the house.

Then we had a great picnic on the lawn - thanks to everyone for sharing their feasts.

Hi Stan!  it was a great day out - it was specially for our Engish language learners this time - but we should certainly do a Grapeviners day at the the Trust too - I love the gardens at Greenway.

What a great idea to visit Killerton House. I am a member of the Trust and would like to go along the next time.
